Home Remodeling To Earn More Returns This Year

Home remodeling is become so popular this time of year that several Americans are taking up some home improvement activity or the other. Home Remodeling will be at its peak this year even though current returns are lower says the Remodeling Magazine. So much so that a home remodeling show hosted by rapper Vanilla Ice will also be premiering its second season this year bringing improvements to another South Florida home.

Remodeling Magazine's new report states that nearly 87% of home remodeling costs will be recovered even though current returns are lower than before. As per its recent report, exterior home improvements will bring more returns. Consequently, homeowners, who took up inexpensive home remodeling projects such as weatherization and spray foam insulation last year will benefit from sales.

As per Remodeling Magazine's report, fiber cement siding replacement will offer a 67% return on investment. New siding will bring 59% return on investment especially in the Midwest. Almost 60% of the cost of adding a deck will be recovered from sales this year.

In the interior region, the kitchen bathroom and attic bedroom will be promising home remodeling spots. Kitchen fixes are expected to give about 55% return on investment (ROI), while an attic bedroom remodeling will offer a 60% payback.
